(26,333 posts)I told my niece to give it time, and hold her when Rocco is around. He's a pretty gentle dog with smaller creatures. The trouble is, Freya has never SEEN a dog so naturally it caused her to react.
Fortunately, should they not become friends, my niece has a friend whose cat recently crossed the rainbow bridge, and she'd take Freya in a second.

(16,661 posts)I missed watching the hearing live due to spending the afternoon in the doctor's office (nothing to worry about and no bad news, just tedious), and then drove home listening to news coverage about that horrible SCOTUS decision. I really needed a pick me up, and this little is it!

(21,798 posts)scheduled for 7:00 am in order to be able to watch the hearing. I am not normally one to be out and about that early after retirement. But, when I made the appointment, I was thinking that the hearing was in the morning.
So, hrump! Out so early when I didn't need to be. But OTOH, less people around to be exposed to.

(21,798 posts)he might start treating it as prey. Ember had a stuffed kitty when she was Arthur's age. By the time she was 5 months old, I saw her sneak up on it from behind a stool in a stalking posture. Then she went in for the pounce.

(492 posts)I once adopted an Apple head Siamese kitten who was the only survivor from her litter due to starvation (tiny). I adopted her at 8 weeks and she was only the size of a Beany Baby. We named her CoCo Bean and loved her for 15 years.
