Gryff is on a roll, today

He's just craving as much attention as he can get. At one point I was in the kitchen, making up some baked ravioli, when he meowed. I turned and looked down and he suddenly did a leap, straight up into my arms. I had to think quick because he's a strong little bugger and has VERY big and sharp claws. I managed to catch him beneath his front legs and avoid any ripping of flesh. All he wanted to do was nuzzle.

I'm working with him to get him comfortable enough for me to trim his claws. We're almost there.

4. Reminds me of the time Ember startled

me in the kitchen.

She was 6 months old. I was facing the counter and Ember was perched on a stool that I put in the kitchen for her to observe me.

Suddenly, without warning, she leaped from the stool to my shoulder, to get a better look, I guess.
