For the past 19 months, a family that used to live in Hawaii thought their cat, Bogie, was gone forever.
That is, until they recently got a call that Bogie was found.
I found Bogie about six or eight months ago. Theres a number of cats I manage on Ualena Street near the Honolulu airport. Bogie started showing up periodically, said Bill Antilla.
Antilla volunteers his time feeding stray cats with Hawaii CatFriends, a nonprofit group that spays and neuters feral cats on Oahu.
Three nights a week, Antilla feeds a colony of stray cats on Ualena Street. Bogie, a Siamese cat, caught his eye.
He looked like a purebred Siamese cat, said Antilla, a breed much different from typical feral cats found on Oahu.
Antilla says the Siamese cat was friendlier than most feral cats, so he borrowed a microchip scanner to check. Sure enough, the friendly stray was microchipped.

(13 posts)It is very useful when you have a pet. No pain and it is not expensive.
