For the Landlady(!): 2 Tomahawk lamb chops marinated in a homemade Italian dressing, (sort of).

For me: 2 small boneless pork chops dry rubbed with Indian curry, cumin, garlic and black pepper.

I'll grill the meat appropriately, that is, start with the pork then add the lamb at the end as she prefers her lamb medium rare.

Basmati rice with homegrown jalapeños and cardamon seeds along with a fresh green salad will round out the meal.

Dumb dessert: Pepperidge Farm chocolate chip cookies and dark tea.

Picked up curbside groceries today. They had everything on my order except for cod fillets and white peaches. Not bad!

Doing a whole chicken in the crockpot. Haven’t decided on the starch yet. I overdid it on mashed potatoes last week, so either rice or pasta. Steamed asparagus with butter, garlic, and a squirt of lemon juice.

A chocolate bar for dessert.
