It's stuffed with pork, onions, carrots, green peppers, garlic and basil. Parmesan and mozzarella on top.

Side of spaghetti with homemade tomato sauce.

Dessert is homemade apple bread pudding.

7. Very rich pre-birthday dinner

for my husband, (his actual birthday is tomorrow but he has to work all day). New York strip steak garnished with compound butters. I saw this article, https://jesspryles.com/recipe/flavored-compound-butters-perfect-steak/ , and besides our standard bleu cheese butter with Maytag Blue, we had "Bloody Mary" butter with sun dried tomatoes, horseradish and Old Bay. Sides were roasted asparagus and a zucchini casserole with sour cream and cheese. My husband thinks it isn't a steak dinner without baked potatoes, so we had those too. (I'm saving mine for breakfast). We had a Slovenian sauvignon wine that our son had bought recently when visiting friends in his college town.
