I love fresh cranberries and stock my freezer with several bags to last until next year.

I like to make homemade cranberry sauce, it goes well with so many meals so this time of year I keep several bags of cranberries in Fridge.

On Sunday I had one refrigerated pie crust and 2 Granny Smith apples I needed to use. I also had the fresh cranberries. Put the pie crust in buttered glass pie dish, put in peeled apple slices, about 3 cups cranberries on top. mixture of sugar, a few TbS flour, pinch of salt, teasp cinnamon, sprinkled over top of fruit in pie, a few dabs of butter. Then made a crumb mixture of butter, flour, sugar. Sprinkled on top. Baked in 325 oven for about 1 hr. Made a great pie, This was the first time I used cranberries in a pie, won't be the last.
