Banana cake with a brown sugar butter cream frosting and buttered pecans. It was pretty easy too and my wife said it was delicious.

(9,265 posts)Recipe for icing? Looks like it would be good on a chocolate cake too.
Take 1/2 cup milk 2 cups brown sugar in a saucepan cook over medium heat while stirring for about 2 minutes at a slow boil. Let cool.
Take 2 sticks butter softened and the cooled mixture and whip together.
Take 4 cups powdered sugar and mix until smooth and fluffy.
The buttered pecans are easy, 2 cups pecans, 3 tbsp melted butter, toss with salt to taste. Spread out on baking sheet and bake in preheated oven at 350 for 16-17 minutes.
