Lamb roast and potatoes and carrots.
Brussels sprouts. Im using the same recipe I tried the other day and Im going to post it later because its so good. The recipe calls for bacon, shallots, and pecans. The glaze is maple syrup and orange juice.
Dessert is berry tarte.
p.s. everyone had such delicious food yesterday! If you didn't check back on that thread, do so. You will enjoy all the creativity.

(17,500 posts)A Clementine Orange for a starter and then I will have an open face turkey sandwich with green beans and mashed potatoes.
I'm happy to eat turkey for a second night.
TJ goes to work tonight, so I'm on my own.
I was thinking earlier today, that this Christmas was void of sweet rolls, cakes, cookies, candies and so forth. I'd been sick and TJ had to work, so not much got bought or cooked. No regrets, but it seems strange. My waist surely didn't need such things.
Before I do anything about dinner, I think I'll have an Irish Coffee.

Beef Wellington in individually puff pastry with mushrooms inside with a brown sauce, wild rice with nuts, and Caesar Salad with bacon and home made croutons. I make a family favorite that isn't in any cookbooks but was handed down from my grandmother. My job it the dessert... almond cake made with no flour and 6 eggs with a marshmellow fluff/buttercream frosting (I believe my sister literally would kill for this).
