http://cookingwiththemark.blogspot.comIngredients
Chop up the following:
Carrots
Onions
Red peppers
Potatoes
(And any other root vegetables you happen to have on hand)
Pinch of salt
1 t granulated garlic
1-2 T Turkish pepper (sold in the U.S as Aleppo Pepper.)
Directions
Chop up all the vegetables and put into a big bowl. Set the chopped onions aside. Add some olive oil, a pinch of salt, granulated garlic, and 1-2 tablespoons Turkish pepper. Pour onto a cookie sheet and bake in a 350° oven for 1/2 hour. While vegetables are baking, add onions to the gown and coat them with the olive oil and spices. Add to the rest of the vegetables and cook for an additional 1/2 hour. Serve piping hot.

it was a typo... The contents of the bowl seems to already have been transferred to the cookie sheet to bake, so where are the onions being added?
bif
(22,797 posts)5. I added the onions to the same bowl
And added a bit more oil and spices. Then added them to the tray in the oven.

It's going to the uncorrected page.

I have to order mine online as I can't find it in our Ohio specialty stores...I'm all out of stock too.. I heard it now comes from Turkey.
Anyone else have an Aleppo Pepper experience?
The roasting of veggies is a home favorite of mine. Thank you for sharing.

(22,797 posts)11. I bought a huge bag of it in Turkey last fall.
I think it was a kilo size bag for about $4. Maybe it was $3.
