This is what I'm having:
It's my favorite thin-crust pizza--mushrooms with caramelized onion. Also will have some calamari with tomato sauce. Probably our favorite antipasto plate, too. The entree will most likely be chicken, which they make in such a way that it's so tender.

This place has a fabulous view of the NYC skyline and is only five minutes or so from our house.

(50,130 posts)....as soon as I make my run to the garden store for herbs, sunflower plants, and whatever suits my fancy.
With the chicken, cous cous with toasted pine nuts, and zucchini some way -- maybe pan browned with grated parm.

(2,016 posts)So it looks like a simple ham steak for me, with some leftover spud salad, and probably some brussels sprouts.
Back on the job(!), so I must remember to pull stuff out of the freezer before work. Yay - I get to earn my moniker again!

I didn't let the rice get "fried" much. Maybe with 2nd half of leftover rice

(146,218 posts)Been eating out in New Orleans, so there are lots of yummy leftovers. Just a little bit of lots of good stuff.
That pizza looks delicious.

(2,674 posts)We always eat there on Thursday because they have butter beans on the menu. Chicken Fried chicken, butter beans, turnip greens, rice and cole slaw, served with fresh baked rolls and cornbread. Added a shake of "sporting peppers" on the greens and a shake of Louisiana hot sauce on the butter beans. Today we also had some coconut cream pie with a big tall meringue. Good old Southern Food, can't be beat.
