What's for Dinner, Thurs., Sept. 28, 2023

Roasted butternut squash soup. It has onion, carrots, garlic, sage, maple syrup, cayenne, and is topped with chives and toasted pepitas (pumpkin seeds).

Small tossed green salad using red leaf and romaine with a few arugula leaves. Homemade olive oil garlic herb vinaigrette.

Homemade kombucha.

Dessert: caramel apple.

(topped with cornbread); this morning I baked a french bread casserole. I now have a few days of supper and breakfast taken care of. I am so glad to be free of cooking for a while... I have housework to catch up on! I'm reconfiguring rooms around here! (LOL)
