1. About 7 hours from now....

I'll smoke a bowl and drink a coffee. The Skippa and I, the Chief Petting Officer, will have some sausages, Sunny eggs with a slice of sharp cheddar, dropped on toast.

2. My breakfast...

Omelet Waffles with.
3 large eggs
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp. chopped ham
1/4 c. shredded Cheddar
2 tsp. Freshly chopped parsley
Cooking spray

(baked in waffle iron)

Orange juice

Whole wheat toast with strawberry jam

I don't remember seeing it before, and something tells me I would remember. 9/16 is an important date for my family--my parents' anniversary. Today would have made 73 years for them, if we hadn't lost Mom 3 years ago.




We're holding our annual family bridge tournament today. My brother and I are reigning champs.


Oh yeah... I'm having a wrap: ham, egg, cheese, tots and salsa. And coffee. There will be coffee, donuts and my streusel cake when I get to the tournament venue. I'm excited to have a slice of my cake--it looks terrific.

6. hiding out from the blower noise

but I had a fantastic breakfast earlier: 2 eggs with Swiss chard, chopped pepper, red onion, and Colby cheese topped with my new kimchi. On the side, a few egg noodles I made for a dish later in the day.

Oh well, I can get my seeds together for planting later. Also make the labels.
