for dinner. That's because I had part of it planned for last night and today I got to finish...
seared scallops, mashed potatoes, steamed asparagus, texas toast and Moose Tracks ice cream for desert.

the first two posters on the dinner thread have no idea what they're eating tonight. I know I picked a beautiful young zucchini from our garden this morning, so probably include fried zucchini.
Lots of fresh lettuce, so probably have a nice garden salad. What else? Whatever I can find.

Tj has had a pot roast in the crock pot all afternoon and it is ready.

It has the usual veggies - potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion.

And brought home enough leftovers for several lunches (for DH) or breakfasts (for me).

However, I made scones this afternoon, mostly for later breakfasts, but we'll probably have a couple for dessert. Re-typed the recipe (which I've been using for a while) as one of my 'General Rule' recipes. And we have some strawberries we need to use, which will go well with the scones as a kind of shortcake.
