Tea now as I warm up the leftover carnitas & avocado to be wrapped in a tortilla.
I fell asleep with my phone on my shoulder around 9 pm. I rolled over at 1am and 'called' a night owl friend. I woke to someones' voice in my ear shouting.. "Answer me!" That is a good friend. She called back 5 minutes later to double check on me, unfortunately, I'd gotten up to use the loo & punted my dark grey tabby who got between me & the loo. My whole house has been awake & discombobulated since 1am; Shaw is on the dresser top, glaring at me, the other cat Dixie is on the far side of the bed & now I am really hungry.

Just a thought, when you get up in the middle of the night to go potty, take the phone with you. It makes a great flashlight.

(35,785 posts)The aroma at my house has lasted for days--roasted tomatoes, chicken sausage in the slow cooker....
I used the roasted tomatoes and the chicken sausage as a filler for an omelette, adding grated mozzarella cheese. Toasted a fresh ciabatta in the air fryer. Peach kombucha and soon a caramel nut decaf.

(22,767 posts)Husband had his several small breakfasts earlier. I wasn't hungry til now (also nothing sounded appealing), so by way of cleaning out the fridge I took a small hunk of cream cheese that was left in one package and added it to the leftover cocktail sauce from last night and ate it on crackers.

(22,767 posts)but after I got married and moved down here 25 years ago, husband's mom had it on the table for a family potluck and I couldn't get enough of it! I've not had it in a long time now bc I don't want to spend the money for the jelly and I would also eat waaay too much of it.
Always hard to say what goes on in a marriage.
