And this will be the last of my pseudo Asian meals for awhile.
Veggie dumplings in stock with tofu cubes, hot decafe tea.

with sliced baby bellas, chopped sweet onion, chopped frozen spinach, feta and extra sharp cheddar cheeses, crumbled bacon on top after baking.

A friend gave us two big butternut squash from her dad's garden, so roasting one of those to go with, serve with butter and crumbled bleu cheese.

Coffee and water, water, water!

Scratch the squash. Cut it vertically down the center, and the bulbous ends of both had mold in with the seeds and strings. Out into the compost they went. So bummed. Gonna check the freezer for Brussels sprouts instead.

Not really. I did make some gravy from the drippings from yesterdays chicken. No plans to eat it tonight.

We ate a frozen pizza with a cheese filled crust this afternoon. No room for dinner.

Perhaps some fruit later.

I am making Tom Kha yet again.

Have Kaffir lime leaf left and a chunk of ginger and a six pack of coconut milk! Lol. I am hooked on this simple soup.

I didn’t have a lot of veg so onion, ginger, and garlic are the bits. Otherwise… seasonings, organic chicken broth and coconut milk. No fresh Thai chilis but making due with siracha and red pepper flakes.

on foot, in cars, and on bikes! And we gave away most of the candy...just enough left for some snacking for a day or so...last year I ran out. I was worried it might rain but the rain held off. The kids were so cute.

if it. We ended up running out, but by that time there was only 30 minutes of trick or treating left. This is a new neighborhood for us, so I'll know next year to buy a little more.
