Elleng posted a NYT Indian spiced spinach & tomatoes curry, pre plague, when I copied the recipe to a card, I did not write the year down.

I'll make that with rice and decafe tea.

Making a green salad with lettuce and tomatoes from the garden and onion, balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Out of cukes and olives, tho.

Your root veg fries reminded me that I haven't made roasted root veggies in quite a while, so added turnips, golden beets and rutabaga to my shopping list for this week. Thanks for the reminder!

It was a busy day preparing Pelagic for her introduction to the Chesapeake Bay tomorrow around noon. We’ve timed our departure to coincide with the ebb tide which will give us added velocity. We’re headed to the Sassafras River.

Dinner tonight is chicken tikka masala, Dahl fry and Basmati rice. We have some craft IPAs in the bottom of the ice box so I’ll be assigned the task of digging them out, (I have longer arms).

Orange slices for dessert.

Mainly sunny. High 71F. Winds light and variable. AND Waning Gibbous moon 97% visible, rises @ 7:39 p.m! (I won't actually see it until 8:30 or later, due to foliage.)

Long John Silver. I got coleslaw for my side.

It wasn't quite enough, so I roasted a honeynut squash. It is a cross between butternut and buttercup squash. First time I tried it, pretty good. They are small, one is just enough for a serving.

No dessert.
