What's for Dinner, Mon., Sept. 26, 2022

Cubed pork steaks from the slow cookier. Applesauce to go with it.

Cucumber, cherry tomato, and feta cheese salad. Herbs that I added are basil, marjoram, and chives. Vinaigrette drizzled over this salad.

Dessert: Banana pudding. Decaf coffee.

I'll also sauce a couple Nuremberg sausages as the side. Bought them at Aldi's as they have German foods available right now and I thought that I'd give them a try.

Chicken thighs marinating in that with lemon, kosher salt and pepper. Will fry them off with skin on then finish in the oven. Found organic plain couscous so I will pep that up with some Toum, parsley, rosemary and lemon zest. I grew the herbs. Zuke or squash I hopefully find in the garden will be the veg.

We had a rough sail in the Atlantic Ocean getting to Barnegat Bay, NJ and we finally anchored near the classic ighthouse. It’s a beautiful bay!

We’re taking all the leftovers and throwing them in a frying pan. Broccoli, cooked carrots, garlic, onion, chopped fried chicken breast and chopped tomatoes. Served over capellini and topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

A brandy then to bed.
