Retrieved a favorite family recipe for brisket.

3-4 lb brisket

1/2 c vinegar
1/2 c app j
2 T Brn sugar
1/2 c chili sauce
1 t. salt
1/4 t pepper

24 hrs marinate

slice 2 onions
1 c celery

cover w onions, celery and sauce in pan, and cover

325 degrees, 3+ hrs hours, basting

Wish I'd have gotten her recipe before she passed. But then brisket has gotten so freaking expensive over the years. I can remember buying it back in my 20s because it wasn't as desirable a cut back then and cheap.
