What's for Dinner, Wed., Aug. 3, 2022

Marinated pork cubes that were cooked in the air fryer because the gas grill is out of propane.

Fennel apple salad with poppyseed dressing (I bought this dressing because Emile mentions it and it sounds good.) Toasted walnuts in the salad.

The Landlady(!) and I won't be together tomorrow so she's taking me out for a classic:

Caesar salad
Chateaubriand for two with three sauces
Mashed potatoes
Creamed spinach
Vanilla ice cream
Merlot

This will limit the pain I'll feel of clicking up another digit.

I just notched another year in over the weekend. We ordered Chinese take-out, and I made myself a lemon-blueberry loaf cake.

Your b-day dinner sounds a heck of a lot better than mine.

Double dredged fried boneless/skinless chicken thighs. Husband is requesting baked potato with butter and sour cream, as well as peas.

Happy Birthday Eve to PJ and belated Happy Birthday to Millie.

I'd take that Chinese takeout about now. I just realized that I'm likely getting so tired of cooking bc, since we both stopped going into town for work and since the pandemic began, I very rarely get a break from it.

Fennel. Darn it. I will look hard here so I can remedy that. But. I am in AK so…. We will see.
It is so versatile as I have learned from cooking shows. It is the only programming I can tolerate on the boob toob
