Impromptu, no recipe, they were really good and not much different from the real thing.

polish sausage w/ peppers & onions, egg & cheese, tater tots in a flour tortilla

coffee

I'm trying to muster up the ambition to make a lemon/blueberry loaf cake... not a lot of success thus far.

Bacon, egg, garden tomato, extra sharp cheddar with Miracle Whip on toast. Not really very hungry yet, so I just had a slice of bacon, tomato and MW on a single piece of wheat bread.

As usual, much coffee for him, water and a mocha for me.

just sitting here waiting for the blowers to stop. It's the curse of living in the suburbs of NY.

As soon as they go, I'll be out working in my own gardens today, for a change. The nice thing about the school gardens is there usually aren't any blowers OR mosquitoes there.

For breakfast, I'm wishing I could have some of Marthe's zucchini bread (she has a post on this topic). It gets cool here at night, so maybe I'll bake some in the middle of the night.

But instead I'll have a single egg with mushroom-tarragon topping on a slice of Dave's 21-Grain Bread. Maybe a kiwi-pineapple smoothie.
