Going to attempt eggs in purgatory for lunch with garlic bread

My neighbor showed me how to make this awhile ago , the marinara sauce she gave us 4 jars has bacon in it. So today I referenced Raos website and looked up eggs in purgatory so easy a caveman can do it. Or a descendant of Eastern Europeans who loves Italian and Ukrainian dishes.

I assume "in purgatory" means not quite as hot as hell?

The last line says ‘serve with bread to dunk in’. I think it’s a typo and should be ‘serve to Duncan!’
