I was a bit disappointed. I didn't have water so I substituted milk and I was out of salt so I used oregano. It just didn't quite do it for me...

i found that while this was delicious this was a bit watery
Reminds me of Lindsay's "hot ham water" from Arrested Development.... "Mmmmm, so WATERY!"

(47,675 posts)4. I only add a pinch of salt to lower the boiling point (if I'm in a hurry), except for eggs.
Salting the water helps keep eggs from "bleeding" if the shell cracks during boiling.

Well i gained 10,000 pounds the night i ate this, i don't now if its because i used grease instead of water and bacon bits as salt, but i would never make this extremely complicated recipe again.
