I'll probably try no-knead when my hands can no longer do it.

It's soothing to me, like gardening

I am glad it soothes you, though.

chicken thighs with seasoned salt, thick slabs of bacon on top, with a pound of halved mushrooms on that. Moist and delicious! and as always, a giant salad.

Does seasoned salt ever go bad? I am still trying to use up a 5lb tub of it that I inherited almost a decade ago. I have visions of taking it to my grave.

with corn on the cob, Big salad and root beer floats (serves as the dessert)! Skipped pizza Friday at the request of the Madster, but thinking T-man was the happiest. Best part is the leftovers for tomorrow for the T-man while the Madster and I are at a B-day party. And the fact I won't have to do anything but reheat for the xter and me when I get home.

Shrooms left over from meatballs Stroganoff, and the asparagus bottoms from the grilled salmon and asparagus dinner. Cut up the ends into small pieces, boiled in chicken stock for 20 minute, put them in the blender, and then put the resulting slush through a food mill to get rid of the strings. Cooked shrooms in butter, added them to the soup, reduced volume, and then added 1/2 cup of nonfat yogurt, tarragon, garlic, salt and pepper.
