ACOA is Adult Children of Alcoholics - and Dysfunctional Families. I don't know if there's a GA meeting near you - you can look online - but I know that my friend does a lot of phone meetings. She usually just listens. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I am in control as to paying bills on time and meeting all responsibilities. I estimate that I pissed away $600K over the years. I have a steady retirement income but no savings.

Depression is a factor.

On line, On phone, or in person. The people at GA have been there, where you are, and can help. Make the call today. Here is a link to a key page in their program. Hit the link, and on that page there is a phone number that can help. If you read the page, you will know if you need to go to those meetings.
