I don't find a lot of shows that I post about
but Rake on Netflix is really, really good. It's about an Australian lawyer who is a definite rake. Great plot. Great characters. Binge worthy.

I have to concede however that I see it as someone who has had some considerable interactions with Australians. Between 1982 and 1987 I worked for a subsidiary of South Australian Fisherman Co SAFCO in Bangkok.
On the surface the executives wore suits and cleaned up great (except the guy from Alice Springs, wow) but once the doors were closed an entirely different culture came out and it definitely had a rakish scent to it.
I remember word for word one interchange that captured it perfectly.
There were 6 of us in a meeting and I was the only 'septic tank' (god damned yank) and the topic of discussion was opening up an off shore assembling factory in FIJI that would capture tax breaks and ship product into Australia.
It looked good but the question was who could they send there to manage the product. It would have to be someone that had technical skill and the maturity to manage without supervision.
Someone said, "How about ole Joey B?"
There was a silent murmur and then someone said "I don't know mate Joey B is the best of the best but all he does is drink piss, chase Sheilas, and play the doggies."
There was a minute of silence and then someone said "Well those are his good points what are his bad?"
I was drinking a Coca Cola at the time with a straw and it came streaming through my nose. I looked up and no one was laughing, they were serious.
This show hit a lot of astonishing things that I heard through these guys. There were a lot of stories about ditching the wife at night on some errand and going down to the neighborhood club in New South Wales. Eventually I asked what all did the club have and they said it was a pleasant little brothel (which was legal at the time) and the picture in my mind of what it might look at was exactly what is in this show.
Another spot on point happened in Thailand but it had to do with the difference in the legal system which is based on the German system. We were getting sued and I asked our attorney when we should get prepared for trial and he said "in two years". In the show they have a series of improbable excuses that generated delays and I would go once a month and watch in amazement while our attorney we pitch various versions of 'the dog ate our homework". The judges accepted it and went on for about two years before the other side settled.
