1. We have had Acorn for quite a while now and love it.

Haven't tried Britbox.

2. Thanks...seems there is an argument that one should have both!

I do love British teevee...mysteries are my favorite and British teevee has many...not many American mysteries...mostly American crime shows...not the same thing!

Foyle's War, Murdoch Mysteries, Hercule Perot +++...where is the American equivalent?

5. I have Acorn and really like it. I paid for an entire year and ended up with

better deal then paying monthly.

3. We subscribe to both. We've had Acorn for a couple of years, but recently added Britbox.

Britbox has our favorite classic britcoms, "Are You Being Served", "Fawlty Towers", "Keeping Up Appearances", and "As Time Goes By" to name a few. So far we are finding both services have plenty of shows we enjoy without a lot of duplication between the two.

4. Thanks...I remember 'Keeping up Appearances' when it was on PBS...loved it!

The comedies are probably as worth it as the mysteries...Acorn only gave a few seasons of Vera, the rest are on britbox...I shall keep both
