The Ambassador (Tubi) 1985
Robert Mitchum as the Ambassador, Ellen Burnstein as his wife and Rock Hudson as the aide/CIA officer.
An interesting movie about the state Israeli/Palestinian relations back in the mid 80's. The core point was the Ambassador bringing students from Israel and Palestine together to find common ground. Don't want to give away the movie's conclusion, but it exposed the problems of both societies trying to find that common ground of peace and co-existence.
Sadly, nothing has changed in the 45 years since this movie was made....
