Netflix Has a Confusing Plan to Block Password Sharing

FYI...

https://www.reviewgeek.com/144463/netflix-has-a-confusing-plan-to-block-password-sharing/

You will have to log in to your Netflix account at least once a month in order for Netflix to identify your TV, phone or tablet as a 'trusted device'..

[snip]
'If you’re traveling for work or on vacation but want to log in at the hotel, you can request a temporary code that’ll let Netflix play away from home for seven days. Again, it’s a bit confusing. And if a device gets blocked, you’ll need to contact Netflix to resolve the issue.'
[end]

I have no issue logging in my password. I have been a NETFLIX Customer since December of 2013.

A hot potato, if I'm forced to prove my identity at least once a month. I've also been a subscriber for about 15 yrs.

VPNs mentioned might help, more to login from the 'homewifi' once per month but that is a VPN direct to the router at the 'home' to appear to log in from there. But later they are going to flag ones who are 'away' more than home. It's going to be a game of cat and mouse.

I hate having to log in every time I turn around. Once a month here, something else the next day....

I'm not sure I'll drop it but I certainly will sound off on it. I have not password shared, either.

Actually, they should have a record of that and they should leave all of us who play it straight alone.
