Same reasons.

A common experience at CVS, is the background announcement, "Pharmacy call...."

4. Had to drive 25 miles to neighboring town Rite Aid to get the Covid vax

The local store is overwhelmed and understaffed. The neighboring town pharmacy was as well. So grateful for the young pharmacist that served me after a long wait.

5. Aldi just bought my local grocery store (Winn Dixie) and they immediately sold the pharmacy to CVS

who then closed the pharmacy and fired all of the employees rather than absorbing them into the CVS system. Without any consultation with the customers, they transferred our drug profiles to CVS. And to add insult to injury they refused to transfer our patient profiles until the last day of operation. The reason that I was at Winn Dixie pharmacy was the lousy service I had previously received at CVS. (errors and attitude) I thought that it was a shitty deal from both Aldi and CVS. I have moved my scripts to Walgreens and will not darken Aldi's doors with my grocery store money (after 25 years shopping in the same location) Yea, I am spiteful.

12. Understaffing has been an issue for a very long time

and I fully support these workers. I know their working conditions and they're horrible.

There are some businesses that are labor intensive, all facets of health care being one of them. Corporate jackasses think they're going to be able to jostle their way to the top by cutting staff and saving labor costs while what they should be doing is adding staff, increasing safety, and providing the kind of customer service that provokes loyalty to the stores, not to mention keeping people safe.

Cheaping out on labor is a little annoying in big box stores and groceries. It is occasionally fatal in health care. Staff cutting by B-school morons is universal.

13. Well said, conditions are awful and I also support workers.

Health care is as priority and serious as it gets. Yes the numbers and profit are all that matter to the corporate types.

We need many major reforms in this country. And with the rise of AI, look out. I just read it's being used to deny treatment for Medicare Advantage, the for profit plan.
