SCOTUS tosses lower ruling on birth control mandate
The Supreme Court on Monday tossed out a lower courts ruling that required the University of Notre Dame to cover all forms of birth control for its employees under ObamaCare.

The ruling from the Supreme Court gives new life to an appeal from Notre Dame, which has sought an exemption from ObamaCares contraception mandate because of its religious ties.
A federal appeals court in Chicago previously ruled that Notre Dame could not be exempt because it was not a substantial burden on its religious rights.
That court is now asked to revisit its decision in light of the Supreme Courts ruling in the Hobby Lobby case last summer.
Before that ruling, any company without an explicit religious affiliation would face fines if it refused to cover birth control for its female employees.
