Dallas police need your help to solve the shooting of a trans woman
Around 11 p.m. last Friday night, a Latino male driving a red truck allegedly pulled up to a transgender woman, yelled transphobic slurs and shot her multiple times in the chest and arm, according to a Dallas Police Department (DPD) report.
The woman survived and can talk, and police are now asking the public for help in investigating the attack as a hate crime.
Police released images of the suspect’s vehicle, “a red Chevrolet truck with large aftermarket rims” (meaning the rims were bought separately from the vehicle).
