Bikers Trash LGBTQ Pride Rainbow Crosswalks with Burnouts, Brag About it on Social Media: WATCH

A group of bikers a set of rainbow crosswalks recently painted to mark LGBTQ Pride in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and then bragged about it on social media. The crosswalks cost the city $30,000.

KRQE reports: “The city was at the scene early Thursday morning trying to get the burn marks out of the crosswalk, but the tire stains are still visible. At least a dozen motorcyclists were seen blowing through the Central and Morningside intersection Wednesday night, burning rubber—one biker even popping their tire. They are the group responsible for these dark skid marks on the brand-new rainbow crosswalk.”

The New Mexico Motorcycle Rights Organization condemned the incident in a statement: “Our organization works diligently to protect the rights of all motorcyclists in our state, regardless of their race, religion, or sexual orientation.”

1. Must be some of Trumps "biker gang fans" that he warned would be very bad if they

got tough with his opponents. I haven't been around any biker rallies lately to see some of my biker friends. I was going to try working "biker gang" into a sentence to get myself scolded for it. Then I would get to point out Trump calling them that! The guys I know don't like that image, though some may have loved it decades ago when they were younger.

My girlfriend and I have a sideline business we run at some biker rallies. There are some 1%er clubs around sometimes, but usually everyone is on good behavior. You can't even find cigarette butts on the ground when they leave a site. They try pretty hard to police themselves and not cause any trouble. That's because they used to get a good party going and then get booted out and have to find a new site. They found out it was way better to be good, have fun, and be seen as a positive thing that brought money into some town that needed it.

On the average, more of them are right-wing than not, probably don't like LGBTQ people, but also would be pissed at those assholes.
