https://www.queerty.com/coachella-turned-two-trans-siblings-away-restrooms-now-aclu-involved-20190228Two transgender siblings, Taiyande and Donavion Huskey, say that security guards at the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last April refused to let them use restrooms matching their gender identities. So, the ACLU of Southern California has contacted the festivals organizers to try and secure policy changes to prevent such discrimination in the future.
If organizers dont create new policies soon, the ACLU could sue.
Donavion identifies as a woman and Taiyande identifies as a man. In two separate incidents, both were standing in lines to use the restroom, reportedly without any disturbance from other concert-goers, when security guards informed each one that they couldnt use the single-gender facilities.
The guards neither explained why nor pointed out where to find trans-inclusive toilets. Both siblings began using gender-neutral restrooms located elsewhere, fearful of another incident.

I've seen HUNDREDS of girls ... in line for the men's room. And I mean full-on GIRLS, not biological-girls identifying as males. Talking GIRLS. In the men's room line.
And I've heard them peeing in the stalls at concerts, giggling, talking to their BF's guarding the stall door ... so many GD times I can't even tell you. I've probably seen it at MORE shows ... than NOT. Not kidding.
I would 'buy' this story if it was one biological male in line for the Ladies room ... easily. But a brother and sister? BOTH harassed in the bathroom line specifically by security ... at the same California Music Festival?
I'm sorry, but this stretches my ability to believe.
No offense, and I could be wrong, and maybe things have actually changed for the WORSE since the 80's and 90's and early 2000's ... and that'd really suck if true.
Obviously if it DID happen, IT SHOULDN'T, and it'd be way messed up. Glad the ACLU is taking a stand, regardless
