Mormon gay conversion therapist now "choosing to pursue life" as homosexualhttps://www.newsweek.com/mormon-gay-conversion-therapist-now-choosing-pursue-life-homosexual-1299757
A prominent gay conversion therapist and active member of the ex-gay scene has announced his intentions to start a new life as a homosexual. David Matheson, author of the book Becoming a Whole Man and creator of several experimental programs which seek to address incongruous same-sex attractions revealed he is now seeking to date men.
The announcement was revealed by fellow gay conversion advocate Rich Wyler, founder of the People Can Change organization, in a post to a private Facebook group obtained by Truth Wins Out (TWO), a group who fight against anti-LGBT prejudice and discrimination.
David says that living a single, celibate life just isnt feasible' for him, so hes seeking a male partner, Wyler wrote. He has gone from bisexuality to exclusively gay.

(10,252 posts)How many lives has he damaged with his therapy? He betrayed everyone, who sincerely came to him for "help." And everyone. who was intimidated into seeing him. I'm betting he did to make an easy buck. False and depraved.
No welcome back to the "fold" for this guy.

Unfortunately a tiny slice of society makes a lot of judgment calls that it has no right in doing so. Remember our so called rights, freedoms, etc. that are guaranteed under the constitution and its amendments? HA!! Yeah, sure. As soon as these people can get away with taking these rights and/or freedoms away, they will. Welcome to America.
There are some who say that protective legislation and/or amendments for gay/lesbian/bi/transg persons do not need to be added, via constitutional amendments or via legislation, that all will be fine. They seem to forgot the whole reason why these amendments and/or legislative updates were and are still needed, in that discrimination and attacks upon the gay/lesbian/bi/transg. community occurred on a widespread basis, and would continue, if allowed, with those committing the crimes often going free, or receiving the most minimal of punishment.
That's why despite all of the freedoms and rights won over the past 30-40 years, there are still many who would take these away at the drop of a hat. why many still continue to resist, and fight for these rights, as well as everyone else's rights.
