I've got a question I can use some help on regarding possibly transgender children

All right, lovely people, I have an interesting question.

A woman who I'm in a guild with, contacted me in-game on Elder Scrolls Online, asking if I would mind some personal questions. (Admittedly, I was nervous about what they could be.) What she asked has me needing to reach out for help, because I have no experience in this arena.

She has a son who is four years old. She says he's in love with rainbow leggings and sparkles, doesn't understand why he has a penis when he wants boobs, and (she says) is somewhat effeminate.

Regardless of this, she loves him dearly. She just wants to know how to support him. She lives near Washington DC, so I was hoping someone here might have a resource organization they know of that can provide her with help on how to best support her child.

Thank you in advance.

Her son will go through many things in the next few years. She should watch and follow him. I had friends who had a son (two gay mothers and one gay father) who was all into wearing dresses when he was young (and pink, pink, pink). So they let him. As he grew up, he started to like sports and excelled at some. He doesn't wear dresses and identifies (right now, as a teen) as straight.

So, who knows

Other kids will lead in other directions.

I agree with get educated -.....but mostly, relax and follow your child.

PFLAG. ... PFLAG has nearly 400 chapters across the United States, with more than 200,000 members and supporters. The acronym PFLAG, pronounced "P-FLAG" /ˈpiːflæɡ/, originally stood for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (later broadened to Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays)
