While touting her dad’s family leave plan as LGBTI-friendly, Ivanka Trump was forced to admit that new gay dads are not included in it.
The daughter of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is said to have heavily influenced a plan that would give new mothers – including lesbians – six weeks of paid leave.

‘I think this takes huge advancement and obviously, for same-sex couples as well, there’s tremendous benefit here to enabling the mother to recover after childbirth,’ she told Cosmopolitan.com this week. ‘It’s critical for the health of the mother. It’s critical for bonding with the child, and that was a top focus of this plan.’
