2015 was an amazing year for me!

At 57, I came our as a lesbian.

Told my parents, my ex, my sister and co-workers. They were all supportive.

My lover, a very well-respected pediatric oncology RN, now lives with me.

We have our problems but coming out, for both of us, was such a relief!

Hope 2016 is amazing and wonderful for all in the LGBT community!

You make me think of Stephanie Miller and Meredith Baxter. Things were so harsh when we all grew up. It is so now, at last, to completely support everyone who comes out.

Kath, did you ever realize how many people were gay in society in our adult lives, until fairly recently?

I'm glad that you finally have the good company of all of them, and most of us straight people too.
