Calling ALL DUers living in Houston, TX- tomorrow is the vote on HERO. PLEASE VOTE!

If you live in Houston.
OR, If you have friends or relatives with a mindset for equal rights who lives in Houston, please call on them.

The vote is tomorrow on November 3rd, info at:

If you live in a major city, and would like to assist, most major cities are staging phone banks to help out like this one in Dallas:

I'm trying to type this post without a string of cusswords. When will a good portion of this country pull their heads out of the sand and decide to live in the 21st century? They won't, willingly. They want to remain convinced that Jesus taught them to hate entire demographics. Arrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

I'm looking to find some demographics of the voter turnout. I'm certain this was an extremely low turnout where the opposition (primarily churches, church groups) were better at mobilizing to "keep predatory men out of women's restrooms".

I mayor had attempted to call the churches organizing politically on this a while back but she got shut down on first amendment bullshit.
