Im actually quite astounded.
The religious right hung its hate(e) on Exodus International a long time ago. For years, their lead anti-gay political groups used the false notion that gays can be cured to stymie efforts to win full civil rights for gay people.
And now Exodus International is gone, and issuing a public apology in the name of its past leader, Alan Chambers:

(10,588 posts)either excessive traffic or its turned off now. My guess is excessive traffic. While Exodus is rebranding themselves (they are not "shutting down" thats a nice distraction for them to say see- were not so bad, but we still are here for unhappy gays) the site will be up for all their affiliates to get their information etc. I imagine the site will be redirected to the new name once that site is done (its a bad landing page right now).

(67,112 posts)hatred and evilness just do not go away IMO. It's a social club of hatred for them, they will find a new way, probably, to rebrand themselves with a new leader of the herd. That said, I'm glad for this recent development.
