He says it's unconstitutional and will be overturned in the courts. The whole thing is so absurd. Hate your neighbor: vote for or against.

7. It's a state CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT

de facto constitutionality in a state constitution sense. The only thing that can overturn this on a constitutionality basis is the US Constitution, and that requires the SCOTUS.

8. I am so sorry.

I wish we were all making better headway with this. It is inconceivable to me that this keeps happening along with all the other crap that is happening. All I can say is I am sorry. We are working as hard as we can to stop this stuff but the opposition is growing once again and it is getting very discouraging. I am going to send you all hugs even though I know it seems silly and trite because once again I feel that you have been let down and treated in the worst way by all of us.

Sadly we have a bugger of a bill just sitting and waiting to be taken up by our Senate. We do not know how it will go but if it passes I would not blame a single gay person for giving the state the finger and taking themselves and their families elsewhere. It should not be this hard to pass equality in this country.
