as we've seen that movie before...North Korea/South Korea, North Vietnam/South Vietnam, and East/West divides too.

Such divisions don't seem to workout well and eventually lead to conflict, ironically like the UN partitioning off of Israel, with no provision for the other indigenous people.

posts on threads here that suggested taking over the norhtern half of Gaza, making it part of Israel and giving tracts to IDF soldiers and settlers.

If that happens, all bets will be off and there will never be peace there.

50 years ago I worked for a Jewish family. He was raised as a child in Israel/Palestine. His family worked side by side with his non-Jewish neighbors. He hated what the European Jews were doing to his homeland. His family packed up and moved to the U.S.

He said he never went back to Israel as it was not where he from any more.

So I am very biased in my thinking of Israel / Palestine. Very Biased.
