What REALLY Happened in the Moscow Attacks?

Jake Broe gives the best description of who, when, where, and why I've seen yet. He makes good cases for LIHOP, cses I've also seen from Russian posters. The case for MIHOP is a little murkier, but within the realm of possibilities.

I'm not watching the Telegram videos, just not doing it.

2. What really happened

Is that ISIS cowards/murderers killed over 100 innocent civilians. I didn’t watch the video but that’s what happened unless you believe Putin and it was Ukraine (it wasn’t)

3. That bloviating drunkard Medvedev said it was Ukraine

before anyone knew what was happening or how bad it was.

Security was absent, survivors saying metal dtectors were turned off and out of the way, no security was there to search backpacks (which was usually the case). Cops not turning up until the shooting was over and the ISIS thugs had escaped is also odd and Russians are not afraid to post all of this stuff.

Watch the video. It's so convoluted to try to blame Ukraine that ISIS is posting all over the web that it was their operation and theirs alone and they really want full credit. Apparently being a murderous thug against peaceful women and children is a recruiting tool.

Russia was warned and the warnings wee pretty specific. This is classic LIHOP.

A case might eventually be made for MIHOP, but I'm not holding my breath while I wait.

4. Someone commented on the video on Russian Media Monitor about the belief that the terrorists were heading to Ukraine

Just for those who don't know what Russian Media Monitor is, it is done by Julia Davis (look her up, she has been in news channels), who was born in Ukraine and is sanctioned by Russia. So according to Russian propaganda, they said these guys supposedly drove 254 miles (400 km) from Crocus to Ukraine without switching cars or changing license plates. A lot of people thought it was fishy because you wouldn't go up to the place in one car, and then use the same car going back. It would have been too obvious. They probably used multiple cars. But Ukraine also said that most of the border is covered in mines, artillery, soldiers, etc. They wouldn't have just gotten to Ukraine without being noticed. Also, Ukraine has got a lot more to worry about. I know Ukraine has the Crimean Tatars, but they have been dispersed for a long time.

But I think they don't want to admit their failures. This isn't the only time that Russia has had terrorist attacks, many of them came from the Caucasus. There was the Beslan siege in 2004 and the Domodedovo Airport bombings in 2010. Regardless of what you think about the terrorists who did it, all this shows the incompetence of the Russian government. They even said that they dismissed what the US had told them because they had thought the West was intimidating Russia. Remember, back when the Soviet Union trying to invade Afghanistan, the mujahedeen fought against them. So I would not be surprised if Islamic jihadists from Afghanistan took advantage of it. Really, Russia needs to shut up, stop complaining about the West, get out of Ukraine, and deal with their own problems. At some point, this West-blaming for all their failures is getting old. Some of the other attacks I mentioned were under Putin's/Medvedev's watch. So, who is responsible for that?

5. Russian Media Monitor is a great source, just don't eat anything before you watch it

I don't post them here because the "blow chunks" factor is strong with Solovyov and Margarita the lip gloss addict, especially.

Even they say the attackers had been headed to Belarus "but you know what's on the other side of Belarus!"

The whole thing is ridiculous to anyone in European Russia and most people under 30 in the rest of the country.

6. Well, it justs shows how stupid they sound

Heck, the terrorists could have come from Chechnya or Dagestan, and previous terror attacks have come from there, they still would be dumb enough to believe it was Ukraine/the West.

8. Have you seen all the bots on You Tube?

I watched about 20 different videos about this attack in the last 2 days and the bots are at it in droves.

Some of the popular comments that are repeated constantly is
1. US/CIA and Mossad did it
2. Ukraine did it
3. The West did it
4. Obama did it

My finger got sore from reporting them for misinformation. I know it won't do any good but it was sort of fun while I was watching TV and was bored.

because they're usually infuriating in their stunning ignorance and so rarely enlightening that it's just not worth it.

But thanks or takung a few dozen for the team.

It is sort of fun if you have a shot of whiskey and know you are reading BS from the start. I've noticed there are a lot less today than since it happened. Even the bots know they aren't getting any Putin supporters to believe their shit so I guess they are finding some other Putin inspired conspiracies to sink their teeth into.
