The IMF recently upgraded the 2024 GDP forecast for Russia to show growth of 2.6%. Many people have taken this as confirmation that the sanctions are not working however the Head of the IMF has stated that the move to a WARTIME Economy in Russia is causing LONG TERM DAMAGE to the Russian Economy. In this video I look at the recent announcements by the IMF, Russia's Budget for 2024, the disposal of Yandex (Russia's version of Goggle) and the IT Brain Drain that has occurred since the start of the War in Ukraine and discuss the long term threat that these pose to Russia.
