Inevitable Collapse of Russia: Regions Demand Independence - UATV English

The Kremlin fears the desire of many Russian regions to become independent. They were promised autonomously they agreed to come part of Russia. As a result they are totally dependent on Moscow, while all of their natural resources and taxes are being sent to the capital. Locals can’t even elect their own governments, as it is now being appointed from Moscow. As a result many of the regions realise their potential in case of independence from Russia. They want to restore their culture, traditions and live without Russian chauvinism. What the Kremlin does to repress the independence movement and why Russia cannot exist in its current form – find out in our news story.

Russia has a lot of problems, but the Putin regime is nothing if not resilient. As long as the fight in Ukraine is at a standstill and there's a trickle of repairs & parts coming in for their equipment, Putin has the capacity to lie to his constituents and shut up his dissidents.
