Georgia between the EU and Russia - Eastern Express - TVP World

Today we take a closer look at the situation in Georgia. On November 8, the European Commission recommended that Georgia be granted EU candidate status. The recommendation is conditional. The final decision on Georgia's candidate status will be taken by the European Council in December 2023.

And they have a different language and different customs, but were forced to conform. And, if anything, they hated the Russians. There were statues of Stalin all over which confused me, so I asked. And I was told that Stalin was Georgian, not Russian, and that he was admired greatly in Georgia since he killed so many Russians.
