Something positive - Lowest wildfire acreage burned since 1998

2014 was the lowest in the last 11 at 3.596 million acres. To date, this year has only had 2.627 million burned.

At first I was like "uh, Canada?"

But yes, the massive rainfall totals across the West last spring made a huge impact on wildfires this summer and fall.
