The media and pundits have already set the narrative that the economy is in a shambles and inflation is out of control. This will be their theme through the next election. Anyone trying to go against that based on new information will just be shouted down.

to control inflation. Mike Pence is quite open about it. He wants higher unemployment. Sacrifices must be made...by someone else.
