Plus we're in a postwar period X 2. Face it, Republicans broke it and now Democrats are stuck cleaning up their mess. They will, but then Middle America will blame them for the discomfort and elect another ignoramus Republican who will screw it up again.

And so it goes.

Well, unless I get my wish in 2024 and their convention erupts into a massive brawl between TFG's zombies and the rest of the party.
