1. a commentary on the 'toons

For the past several months, the website source for our daily 'toon has been undergoing HUGE changes, and this week-end it just did another. Some of my favorite cartoonists haven't been available at all. Others only show up once in a while and then with a backlog of several weeks' worth of 'toons. The best ones are often too far out of date, given the nature of political cartoons, for posting on the daily thread.

A couple of years ago, I discovered cartoonist Clay Bennett through posting of the Stock Market Watch thread, and I consider him one of the best of the best. Hardly a day goes by that Bennett doesn't have a 'toon worth posting for SMW. Today, I'm adding Clay Jones to my list of favorites. I hope you'll enjoy him, too.
