I just saw the article and went here to post it. What a great idea to have a peace corps of doctors. The photo is from the 2006 Faneuil Hall talk Kerry gave where Vanessa introduced him.

2. i was just going to say, she takes after him in so many ways

but they just do it through different areas like political office and medicine.

i always found this family to be people i can relate to even though we have different backgrounds in many ways. it was more about people who try to understand others and learn about them and take interest .

it was probably almost 10 years ago when i first saw vanessa campaign for him on cspan. this was early stage of the primary, almost pre primary stage. but i was impressed by her. someone who could actually answer specific questions with detailed answers . not just phrases like "you can trust my dad, my dad will help you,". she is close to my age and was in her 20s at the time which made it even more impressive.

...saying? "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree..." Or something like that. She values and is doing public service, like her dad. That's really nice.

5. Saw the tweet yesterday

very proud father, but did not have time to post, not even to follow the link. Now I did (thanks Yvonne!). Very, very nice. And it's sriking how alike they look in the picture, just look at those profiles
